Mothers Day Crafts

For this mothers day we linked our craft projects to our previous science topic, animal and plant lifecycles, and created cards and gifts on the theme of butterflys and flowers.

We upcycled plastic bottleds and turned them into beautiful butterfly magnets, and upcycled large cans into flower pots which the students painted to their own designs before planting a pretty flower to offer to their mums.
As well as this, the class put their painting skills to the test to create a flower garden themed card with a poem on the inside.

I think you'll agree, the students did a great job!
